Sauder Student Desk - What Not To Get

If would have to talk about a desk that is not worth the headache it would be this Sauder Student Desk. It is unbelievable that a company would produce a desk that just is not worth purchasing on any occasion. I would just tell someone to go ahead and use the kitchen table until they could just come up with $30 more dollars. Now, I admit that I did purchase this desk at one time or another. But I vowed to never purchase it again. First, the desk was just to small. It is like half the size of ANY computer desk or desk alike. Secondly, the materials were very poor. The wood tends to splinter and after a while the desk just falls apart. Very dangerous if you have a computer on top. Don't think about moving this desk to another location once assembled. It just tends to become unstable.

I am not kidding.. You don't want to purchase this desk. It is not a long term solution and it is not worth the $30 dollars purchase price.

With my first computer I purchases a desk similar to this one. The only difference between mine and this one was that I opted for a book case attachment. But all the rest was the same. Now, this is a reasonable desk to purchase. It is cheap and will hold up very well with children as well as adults. The legs are iron or aluminum that is what makes this desk such a unique find. That is also what makes it so tough. I would recommend this for those who don't want to spend a lot, but want the bang for their buck.

This desk will set you back probably around $69.99. But it is well work the money. I am a very tall man and I was able to fit comfortably under the desk. It also has a stand to put your computer CPU on. Very convenient...

Cheap Computer Desks

I have to say their is nothing like having a computer desk to work from. Coming from a man who has had to work from the kitchen table, it is nothing like it. But, for those who have just investing $800 dollars or more on a new computer you may not have the funds necessary to afford a computer desk, especially something like an executive desk. In this case you may want to looking into purchasing something a little more reasonable that will not break the bank.

One of the best places that I used to go to find my desks was and still is officemax. Some people would say that this store is very expensive. I would also say the same if I was looking from the outside. But, having shopped their for years, I have found some very reasonable deals. That being said, you do have to look for them. Their are some very expensive items or overpriced items in this store. But the items that they do carry are of high quality and for me have last for a long time. I also like the customer service. My local store has had an excellent customer representative every time I walked in. Their office furniture store is not an exception to the rule. They take their time and walk you through all of their items and allow you to make a educated decision. No rushing, just time and effort. I really like the store.
